RoseKnits is an Etsy shop operating out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and specializing in handmade knitting project bags.  The shop is run by Annie, a self-described sewista who loves using beautiful fabrics to create functional bags.  While these bags aren’t strictly for knitters only, they do make fabulous presents for the knitters in your life.  When Leslie found Rose Knits on Etsy, she chose the “Cube” style knitting bag, which at 6″ x 6″ is the perfect size for a small project (like socks), and extra ball of yarn, and a few notions.  And Annie has a great eye for prints–how cute is this one?

Rose Knits makes a smaller “Fortune Cookie” bag–which really looks like a fortune cookie!–as well as larger “Box Totes,” which would be optimal for carrying bigger projects.  The craftsmanship is impeccable, as Annie has been sewing since middle school.  Her skill and eye for color really come together into some seriously cute knitting bags!

I am excited to feature this unique and fun L & B Etsy Shop Favorite!  This cute little shop was brought to our attention by Ms. Brita, a friend and teacher at the shop.  All the products at the Hot Butter shop are handmade by Ashley Ann a stay at home Mom to a sweet little boy.  She is a clever crafts woman who loves to create things with both new and repurposed materials.  Her little wallets and purses are adorable and her prices are extremely reasonable for the time she is putting into her quality handmade products.

The zipper pouches would be the perfect size for any small items you need to keep together like make-up or change.  I am thinking that I need one asap for all my knitting nick nacks or knit nacks.  I love the clothes line design on the zipper bag and the bird design with the buttons is really unique and super cute.  Ashley also offers free shipping to first time customers.  Thanks for checking out the Hot Butter shop! -B

Once a month L & B will be highlighting one of our favorite Etsy shops.  This month we are posting about Sammi84 a homemade jewelry shop for bridal and every day.  Similar to Leslie and I, the shop is owned and managed by two sisters Sammi and Kelly.  At Sammi84 and their sister shop Made by Sam you will find jewelry inspired by nature, made out of fine gem stones, semi-precious materials, sterling silver, and gold filled (rolled gold).  Leslie actually bought me one of the pieces for my birthday a few weeks ago and I haven’t taken it off since I opened the package.  You will find most of the jewelry featured on the site is very affordable and simplistic.

The packaging and presentation is really cute and great for anyone who is looking for unique handmade gifts.  I have received several compliments asking where I found by maple leaf necklace and I am excited to be promoting this shop.  You all know that when Leslie went shopping for my birthday present she couldn’t hold herself back from buying a little silver heart for herself and a gold star for our Mom.  This actually worked out perfect for us when we decided to post about the products we had three samples to photograph!  Thanks to Sammi and Kelly for giving us the opportunity to highlight their Etsy shop on our blog. -B
