The Swallowtail Shawl is a 2 part class running from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm Saturday, April 24th, and 1:00 pm-3:00 pm Saturday, May 15th. This is a beautiful project for all you advanced knitters. You will learn a combination of lace knitting skills including: yo, ssk, k2tog, sk2p, nupp stitches, reading lace charts, blocking and finishing lace. Not to mention you will get to use new Noro lace yarn “Sekku”. You need to bring a stitch marker, tapestry needle, and size 2-4 circular needle with at least a 36″ cord. The class is $55 and includes yarn, 4 hours of instruction, and the pattern.
Looking for a project for a small child or baby? The stuffed owl is cute, soft, and cuddly. The Stuffed Owl is a 2 part class running from 10:00 am-11:00 am Saturday, April 17th, and 10:00 am-11:00 am Saturday, April 24th. You will learn the magic cast on, increase, decrease, 3 needle bind off, i-cord, and how to make pom poms. You need to bring a size 7-40″ circular needle, size 7 dpn’s and a darning needle. The class is $36 and includes two hanks of yarn, 2 hours of instruction, and the pattern.
If you are intermediate beginner and are wanting a scarf pattern with a little more interest than just a basic garter stitch or stockinette stitch, sign up for this linen stitch scarf class. The class is $33 and includes 2 hanks of Manos Silk Blend and 1 hour of instruction. The class will be Saturday, February 27th from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm.
