Where do you keep all of those plastic shopping bags? We’ve figured out a storage solution. This class will teach students how to pick up stitches on a garter stitch, yo, k2tog, how to knit an i-cord, and kitchener stitch. The two part class will be held Saturday, June 8th from 1:30pm-3:30pm and Saturday, June 15th from 1:30pm-2:30pm. The cost of the class is $30 and students will need to bring 110 yards of worsted weight cotton and size 9-16″ or 32″ or longer circular needles. Materials for the class are not included.
You can never have enough cute headbands. This class will teach you how to create a provisional cast on, cabling, and how to kitchener stitch a seam. This class will teach magic cast-on, increasing, decreasing, and kitchener stitch. The class will be held Saturday, May 18th from 10:3oam-12:30pm. The cost of the class is $20 and students will need to bring 200 yards of fingering weight yarn, size 3-4 32″ or longer circular needles, and the purchased pattern from Tiny Owl Knits. Materials for the class are not included.
This precious little t-cup cozy is perfect for those of us who love to drink hot coffee or tea. You will learn the disappearing circular cast on, how to increase front and back, and how to make an i-cord. The class will be held Saturday, May 11th from 10:30am-12:30pm. The class is $20 for 2 hours of instruction and the pattern. Students should bring 150 yards of worsted weight wool yarn and size 6-32″ or longer circular needles. Materials for the class are not included.
L & B will be hosting our summer knit-a-long beginning the first Thursday in June. Four fun evenings of knitting the beautiful Nuvem will begin at 6:00pm and end at 7:30pm and run every Thursday evening in June. You can check out the pattern by clicking here. You will also need 200 yards of fingering weight yarn, size 3-4 32″ or longer circular needles. Just think after you have mastered making the trivet you can start making your quilt!
Continuing our theme of washcloths, join us for this textured knit class. You will learn how to knit with 2 colors and slip stitches. The class will be held Saturday, April 2oth from 1:30pm-3:30pm. The class is $20 and students need to bring 200 yards of worsted weight yarn and a size 6-7 knitting needle.
Learn how to knit this light weight jeweled cowl to dress up your summer wardrobe. The beads add a nice sparkle and detail to the finished project. You will learn how to do beginner lace and beading.
