Mushroom Cap

Beginner Knitting 2

If you know how to do the basic knit stitch and are ready for the next step, this class will teach you how to purl, increase by yarning over, and decrease.  It makes a cute little dishcloth you will cherish for years to come.  The class will be held Saturday, October 15th from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm  The cost is $25 and includes the yarn, 1.5 hours of instruction, and the pattern.  Don’t forget to bring a size 7, 8, or 9 straight needle!

Burberry Cowl

The Burberry Cowl class is being held Saturday October 22nd, 2011 from 1:00pm-3:00pm. The class is $45 which includes two balls of Rowan Lima yarn & 2 hours of instruction. You will need to bring a 9, 10, or 10.5 US needle, cable needle, waste yarn, & H crochet Hook.

Beginner Knitting 1

Learn how to knit! This is the L & B Yarn Co. class for beginners.  The class will be held Saturday, January 21st, February 4th, and February 18th from 1:30pm-3:30pm.  We are very excited to teach you how to knit your very own scarf.  Come choose from an array of wool colors, meet new people, and learn the art of knitting.  The cost is $20 for 2 hours of instruction and the pattern.  Materials for the class are not included.

Pumpkin Baby Hat

The Pumpkin Baby Hat class is being held Saturday October 8th, 2011 from 10:30am-12:30pm. The class is $26 which includes a kit of yarn for the project & 2 hours of instruction. You will need to bring a G or H crochet hook.

Crochet Fingerless Gloves

The Crochet Fingerless Gloves class is being held Saturday October 8th, 2011 from 1:30pm-3:00pm. The class is $24 which includes one hank of Aslan Trends Santa Fe yarn & 1 1/2 hours of instruction. You will need to bring an E crochet hook.

Textured Scarf

This textured scarf utilizes a method of rapid increases, some decorative stitches, and basic short rows.  The class will be held Saturday, September 17th from 10:30am-11:30am.  It is $25 and includes the yarn and the pattern.  You need to bring a size 4-24″ circular or long straight needle.

Bead Tutorial

This bead tutorial class will address different ways beads can be placed while you are knitting.  We will not start a project, just practice knitting with beads.  You will need to bring some scrap sock weight or lighter yarn and needles that work with your scrap yarn.  The class will be $15 and will be held Saturday, September 17th from 2:00 pm-3:00 pm.  The class will also include a size 10 crochet hook for beading and a package of beads in your choice of color.

Baby Booties & Hat

Calling all of our new crocheters.  You guys asked for a crochet baby bootie class and we are bringing you that and more.  In this class you will learn to crochet a set of baby booties, baby hat, or baby sweater.  The class will be $26 and will be held Sunday, October 16th from 1:30-3:30.  The two hour class will also include 1 skein of everyone’s favorite Berroco Comfort yarn.  You will need to bring a size G or H crochet hook.

Hurricane Hat

Learn to make this hat with a little bit of sparkle.  It is a little more than a basic pattern with more than a basic yarn.  You will learn how to make one if you don’t know how already to create a spiral pattern.  You need to know how to work in the round, knit, and purl.  The class will be held Saturday, September 10th from 10:30 am to 11:30 am and will run $25.  Please bring size 7 needles in your choice of double points, 16″ circulars and double points, or you can work the project in magic loop.  The class includes 2 balls of yarn and 1 hour of instruction.
