Cowl of the Month: First Reveal

So, if you follow L & B on Ravelry you probably saw my post a couple days ago about this fun upcoming event!  Leslie and I are designing and knitting up a storm for our upcoming Cowl of the Month Club. In past years we have done: “Scarf of the Month” and “Hat of the Month” so this year is “Cowl of the Month” and it includes 6 projects in 6 months.  In past years the patterns were exclusive to club members, but this year we are changing things up a little bit.

Those who sign up and pay in advance for The Cowl of the Month Membership will receive a 20% discount on all the yarn needed for each pattern and the patterns will be free. The patterns will still be available for non-club members but they won’t be free and the yarn for each pattern will be priced at regular retail price. This gives club members a nice perk ;)

We are excited about this years designs so be thinking if you might want to be a Cowl of the Month Club Member at L & B Yarn Co. Some of the yarns we are using are Berroco Abode, Cascade Heritage, Manos Fino, Berroco Boboli Quick…there are 2 more in the works so I will keep everyone updated.  This is the first in the series and our first reveal.  Sign ups will begin the first of March and the first cowl will be available for pick up or delivery the first week of April.  I will be posting more pictures of the cowls as we complete them and giving some pricing information in the next week. -B
