Christmas Tree Toppers

If you’re looking for really simple and inexpensive Christmas decorations (or perhaps last minute gifts), check out these Christmas Tree Toppers.  Because all of the required items for these toppers are probably things you have in abundance lying around your home, you don’t have to worry about breaking your budget.  Just take some left over fingering weight yarn (I used Shibui Sock), size 1-3 needles, a cable needle, and about half an hour of your time and you’re finished!  They’re that easy!  I also sewed on some beads afterwards to add a little bit of flair, but that’s certainly not necessary.  When you’re finished with your topper, simply place it on top of a wine cork and decorate your shelves.  For larger Christmas trees, you could use worsted or chunky yarn and just keep the same pattern. So click here for the pattern and get started on your own Christmas forest!
