Pleated Kerchief
This adorable Pleated Kerchief by Micaela Langevin is knit out of 1.5 skeins of Koigu KPPPM, 100% Merino Wool. L & B just offered this class last weekend and since then have had several request for the pattern. You can find the pattern by clicking here. If you weren’t able to make the June class we will be offering it again on July 7th from 1:30pm-3:30pm so call the store if you are interested in signing up 405-310-3636.
Mikki has a long standing love affair with the linen stitch. After becoming frustrated with stockinette stitch not laying flat she looked in one of her ancient crafting encyclopedias to find the linen stitch, a stitch “resembling woven cloth”. This stitch gives lots of texture to your projects as well as keeping your finished fabric flat. The orderliness of the pleated ruffle really stands out because of all the colors in the yarn. More great things about this pattern is it’s reversible and can easily be made larger. The sample that is pictured is Koigu Painter’s Palette Premium Merino color number P309. If you like this color or are looking for Koigu L & B currently has a good stock. -B
