Estelle Pullover
Everytime Mrs. Linden Down comes out with a new pattern, Leslie and I get so excited to check it out. Her patterns are always super cute, easy to read, and the way you knit them is seamless (awesome). The Estelle is as wonderful as the Margot, the lace work is very feminine, beautiful, and sets the sweater apart from other sweaters we have seen. The evenly spaced increases you use for the bust gives even darts across the front of the sweater and is fun, interesting, and different. If you love the Estelle Pullover but, you were wanting a cardigan don’t worry because it was originally designed as a cardigan. Both versions of the sweater are available just click here for the pullover and here for the cardigan. Leslie knitted her sweater out of her new favorite yarn Rowan Calmer.
I think that is the second sweater she has made in the last few months out of this yarn and she just won’t stop. I actually don’t blame her because it feels like a dream, literally it feels like what you dream clouds would feel like if you could reach up and touch them. -B
