Sage Blouse
This is a pattern by Connie Peng that I found on one of my late night Ravelry pattern hunts. I love the lines of the blouse and the fact that it will look good on all body types. After I read the pattern introduction I knew I was meant to make it. Connie is an animal lover like me. She created the original pattern in the color of sage because it reminded her of the sage bush she would walk by with her dog. She says he would brush up against them and would smell like lovely sage for the rest of the day, that and dirt of course.
She was very kind to share this pattern on Ravelry as a free download and asks that in return to please be kind to animals. She asks to help an animal in need if you have the opportunity, which if you ask B and others that know me that is my #1 rule.
I knitted my Sage Blouse out of a similar color of Rowan Calmer a beautiful 80% cotton & 20% elite polyester blend. Take the superb breathability & softness of cotton and add a touch of stretch polyester and you get a yarn that has excellent stitch definition & wear-ability. -Leslie
