Ruffle Scarf
Twinkle Soft Chunky is definitely one of our favorite scarf yarns because it knits up quickly, you usually only need a couple of hanks, and the roving like ply is warm and soft on your skin. We decided one evening after knit nite we needed a new shop model made out of Twinkle and we found a really cute pattern on the Misti Alpaca website called the ruffle scarf. The pattern is exactly the same as what you download for free we just used a larger gauge yarn and needles. We used 2 hanks of yarn in a deep plum and size 17 needles. It only took me a couple of evenings to knit up and the pattern is easily memorized. I would recommend this scarf as an intermediate beginner knit.
It will teach you how to combine slip stitches, increases, and decreases to create an interesting pattern with lots of texture. After we completed our photo shoot for this scarf our photographer liked it so much he gave it to his girlfriend as a one year anniversary gift. So if you are looking for a quick and easy knit for a loved one this might be the scarf that they will love. -Leslie
