Lumpy Bumpy Teapot Cover
We have always had an obsession with tea cups and teapots, I think it comes from spending every weekend growing up in antique shops looking for that one and only special treasure. You go in looking for something specific and come out with a sack of random goodies.
Mom made herself a collection of mismatched tea sets of all different styles and colors: pink roses, yellow daisies, and white lilies. Her obsession with teapots has now shown up in her knitting. She designed this teapot cover out of Farmhouse Yarns Lumpy Bumpy, 90% wool 10% nylon, which will definitely keep your tea nice and steamy.
The pattern is a simple knit, but the yarn gives the project just enough texture to keep you interested. This would be the perfect gift for Mothers Day 2010 coming up May 9th. L & B has lots of colors to choose from to match every personality and you only need one hank.
The pattern is easily customizable to fit any size teapot. Even if you are not making tea it would be a super cute accent for any kitchen or spring table! -B
