Headbanda
Hair accessories are big right now, which is good for Leslie and I, because our hair is short and every day is a new hair adventure. When I wake up in the morning I look in the mirror and wonder, what is going to happen with my hair today? I think the headbanda is a good option for anyone no matter if you have long hair or short. It holds your hair back out of your face like a headband would, but it has the shape of a bandanna, so why not call it “Headbanda”. A good accessory for summer to keep the sun off your head and different from a traditional hat.
It is knitted out of one of L & B’s favorite cottons Mission Falls 1824 and the quick and easy stockinette pattern is spiced up with a crocheted picot edge. The texture of the Mission Falls gives the project texture and vintage appeal.
Instead of dealing with points to tie back like you would with a bandanna the headbanda has an easy I-cord tie. This also gives you a quick adjustment for any size head. -B
