2007 Fiber Rendevous

2007 Fiber Rendevous

Started by the Log Cabin Spinners who represent four states (Kansas, Texas, Missouri, and Oklahoma) this festival of homegrown fibers and handspun yarn has been an annual event for fifteen years. Now held on the famous Route 66 in Arcadia, Oklahoma this is an exciting place to find any natural fiber you might be looking for. From alpaca to cashmere it is all sold by the individuals who put there heart and soul into this rare art form. If you are headed for a trip down south don’t forget to mark your calendar for the 2008 rendevous. Check our calendar for the spring 2008 date.

Is this past, present, future? The link doesn’t work, but I’m interested. Also very excited about a new yarn store.

The yarn store is awesome! I got a sneak peak of the store a few weeks ago and it has the best selection of yarn of any store I have been in. I think it opens next week.

This past year was the first festival I went to and plan on going to them as long as I am in the state. It was a blast to play with everyone’s stuff and spin and chat all day. I look forward to taking a field trip to your store soon. I am down the road in Mcloud.
